As from the title says we learnt in our first week the rules of making salad’s but this is how to make the perfect salad at home or in work!

  1. Use first class quality ingredients preferably ingredients that are in season.
  2. Tear the lettuce and DON’T chop as it causes discolouration.
  3. Prepare before serving it up
  4. Ensure all ingredients are washed and dried in spin lettuce
  5. ONLY apply dressing prior service

So in the following week, I am posting a few salads you can try at home, some of them aren't very popular here in Ireland but if you want to try it have a go! Also, be showing you how to make the perfect coleslaw for you. And some food safety along with it because it's not the best idea to keep salad's after a couple of days especially pasta and rice as they can seriously cause food poisoning!
